We met Erin and Charles last fall and had an immediate connection with them. They were married and had their wedding reception last month at The Pavilion on Crystal Lake in Middletown, CT. Their wedding had some of the awesome Irish traditions such as a bagpiper, dressed in traditional Sinclair Hunting kilt, piping during Erin’s processional down the aisle and leading the recessional for Erin and Charles after their wedding ceremony. Erin and Charles are a very sweet and sincere couple and we loved being part of this important moment in their lives. We wish them all the best.

Wedding Photography in Middlebury CT

We like shooting colorful weddings! This recent wedding took place in Middlebury, CT at the Middlebury Congregational Church. The town of Middlebury has characteristically historical buidlings, churches, homes and parks that provide a beautiful backdrop for wedding photography. The bridesmaid dresses were as blue as the clear blue skies that day. The bridal bouquet and bridesmaid’s flowers provided a vibrant splash of color for these photos. Max had a lot fun photographing the wedding party and especially the bride and groom who were very cheerful folks.

Engagement Photography in a Dutchess County Farm NY

I can’t stop looking at these photos of Becca and Lee. This engagement session is so different from anything we have done before and they absolutely rock. Max photographed Becca and Lee’s engagement photo session on Becca’s family farm in Duchess County New York which is located along the Hudson Valley. When we first met Becca and Lee in Tarrytown, Becca shared a little history with us about her family and her family’s farm. It was a great first meeting. We felt an immediate connection. It’s all so very cool to get to know the couples we meet through our photography business. The opportunity to learn about the the bride and groom and hear some of their personal stories is extremely meaningful to us because not only does it enhance the significance of their photographs for us but we feel we become a small microscopic part of the journey that they’re on. We feel lucky to have met Becca and Lee who’s wedding is coming up in – what??!! – threeee da-ays!!! No way. Their wedding is gonna be outstanding!

You can tell that Lee just blends right into the the farm life.

Pre Wedding images at Larchmont Yacht Club NY

Engagement wedding images at Larchmont Yacht Club NY. – Cathy and Jeremy. Cathy and Jeremy contacted us a couple of months back. When we met with them to discuss their wedding photography in NY, the first thing we noticed was how much energy they both had and how much they were both alike. And needless to say, they make an awesomely good-looking couple. Cathy and Jeremy thought the Larchmont Yacht Club would be a great location to take photos which is where they happen to be having their wedding in July. We couldn’t have agreed more. The club and the water and sailboats gave us a beautiful backdrop for their engagement photo session. Plus Max and I have an affinity for the Larchmont Yacht Club since we both used to crew during race week out of the LYC. Cathy will make an absolutely stunning bride. Check out her adorable smile in these photos. We can’t wait for their wedding.

Westchester Wedding Photography NY

New York wedding event in Waccabuc Westchester County New York. Ceremony at the historical quaint Mead Memorial Chapel Waccabuc Westchester NY and reception at Waccabuc Country Club Waccabuc Westchester NY. Lake Waccabuc which is absolutely worth taking a look is near Deer Hollow in the town of Lewisboro, New York. Lake Waccabuc is about 138 acres of beautiful water, surrounding woods and parks and is part a three-lake watershed madeup of Lake Rippowam and Lake Oscaleta and Lake Waccabuc. The summit of Titicus Mountain can be made out from Lake Waccabuc. Waccabuc Country Club is an fantastic place to have a wedding reception with it’s 18-hole golf course. Mead Memorial Chapel was built in 1905 by Hobart Upjohn and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1999. The Mead Memorial Chapel is like stepping into the past especially given the vintage look of the bride and her beautiful wedding gown and veil in this particular wedding. Almost every aspect of the Chapel seems untouched from the time it was built. We just love the look of the bride with the combination of her beautiful structured face and the white Irish lace veil. The getting ready images of the bride were taken at her parents beautiful home in Waccabuc. Their home lent itself to giving the classic ambiance in some of these photos combined with the classic beauty of the bride.

Griffin’s Bar Mitzvah was incredible. The ceremony started at The Westport Woman’s Club in Westport, CT and the celebration followed at the Shore Haven Golf Club in Norwalk (CT).

Wedding Photography Greenwich CT. Wedding in Greenwich’s Town Hall, candid images on the street of Greenwich Avenue and along Duck Pond and along the footbridges at Binney Park in Old Greenwich CT. On November 12, 2008, Connecticut enacted the bill for same-sex marriages. Connecticut ranks with five other states (Iowa, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Washington, D.C.) to legally recognize same-sex marriages.
