Congratulations to Marisa and Bruno who were just married this past weekend. We will be posting their wedding photos in the next few days!

The photos below are from Marisa and Bruno’s engagement session shot at El Museo del Barrio back in October. We had already posted some photos of their engagement session that were taken on the same day at the Conservatory Garden in Central Park, NYC.  But those photos show half the photo shoot and tell half the story.

There was a heavy downpour the day of their engagement session and although it may have been wiser to reschedule we made some quick decisive moves which turned that day into the most fun and creative photo shoot ever! And as karma was on our side that day, El Museo del Barrio graciously opened their doors to us during the heaviest part of the downpour and despite the construction going on in the museum.

El Museo del Barrio is located directly across the street from the entrance to the Conservatory Garden. It’s a beautiful museum with a majestic history and exhibits of the Latino-American culture and art. And its a fantastic place to have a wedding especially in El Cafe and courtyard!!
